MACH4 Lab is an indipendent SME that focuses on research, design and consultancy in the area of mechanical engineering, machinery and equipments. MACH4 Lab operates in four strategic fields of the above areas, which are: Machine tools, Materials, Mechatronics and Micro-machinig. Within this field the company is aimed at providing the following services and activities:

• Engineering solutions based on advanced composite materials, including CFRP, MMC, sandwiches, foams, phase change materials and hybrid arrangements of them
• Applied research on adaptronic systems and smart materials
• CAE analysis applied to mechanical and mechatronic systems
• Research and design of mechanical devices for high precision machining and micro-positioning
• Reliability management, analysis of products, systems and processes
• Quality management, analysis and process improvement
• Project management of R&D projects

The high qualified engineering staff, together with the permanent world-wide collaboration with the most important universities and excellence research centres, allows MACH4 Lab to achieve very important industrial results and increase its own and customers competitiveness.
